Water pump and HPFP extended warranty for N54 engine in UK?
I got my friends in the US just told me that they have 80000miles or 10 years warranty on HPFP and water pump, does anybody knows does this extended warranty applied to BMW UK?
I just got mine water pump took off...and got a bit pissed about the price for new pump from BMW, so if there is an extended warranty then should I just put my water pump back on and drive it to BMW? |

No extended warranty on any parts. You forgot their turbo warranty..
We get shafted..

Has the HPFP and wastegate issue been sorted on later models of E90-93 with the N54 engine ?
Most of the failures I see seem to involve 07 plate 'ish cars - or is that just me ? |

I think if the same rules applied in the UK with BMW GB as the do in the USA then I think a lot of us would be a financially better off as a lot of people out of warranty have be bitten with various episodes that in the USA(turbo waste gate issue)for instance would've covered and therefore looked after financially within the American network whereas in the UK without a cast iron warranty on your side your left in the cold with a big bill
