Anyone know where to buy Hub Extenders for 2010 E90

I have a "hub centric" 5mm spacer and need a hub extender because the wheel has a bevel in the centerbore as seen here:

So because the spacer takes 5mm from the hub the wheel now doesn't sit on the hub "centered" I've tried the "star" method in tightening the lugs with no luck. I have found the TMS hub extenders but they don't seem to make them for the e90.....HELP!

I've used 5mm with no problems on my e90 I don't know why you are having a problem with yours...

What brand spacer are you using? Can you show us a picture of your spacer so we can better help you out?

They are made by RSD or RSW they look identical to these. Just like every 5mm spacer I've seen out there.

I'm running a 5mm spacer up front too, but the beveled edge on the inside of my wheel isn't all that big, so I'm able to get the wheel centered, but it won't sit on the hub lip by itself. So I had some steering wheel wobbling issues at one point too.

Make sure you use a torque wrench to tighten the wheels, make sure the face of the hub is clean, and if that doesn't work, I would suggest you either go with a bigger spacer (I think 12mm and up have extended hub lips) if you have the room, or remove the 5mm altogether.

Thanks for the offer but I just think I'll be pushing it with another 3mm, anyone have any luck on how to center these rims?

It would be an extra 3mm making it 8mm and they are stock rims and tires with the sport package.

nowhere in your thread did you specify wheel or suspension specs.

stock rims and tire sizes should be fine with up to 10-12mm. honestly i wouldnt even bother with such a small spacer on stock wheels on stock suspension. it would barely even be noticeable.

I'm right at the lip with 5mm to match the 10mm I have in the rear. If I go anymore i.e. 3mm to make it 8mm it will rub and look ghetto. I'll take pictures tonight so its clear.

oh please. i have a 20mm with OEM wheels and i dont rub at all. and im slammed.

Sure if you don't have the sport package you get those tiny wheels...lol wow

I put 12mm on my rears and they rubbed. I think I can tell when a wheel rubs and it sticking out to far...its not brain surgery! Oh please! lol

18" are TINY. in fact, they are the smallest wheels bmw even offers.

What does 18" have to do with it? It's the width not the diameter. Wow you are kidding me right?

Non sport you have a narrower tire because you have a square setup with the sport package you have a stag setup with a much wider rear tire but now we are way off topic.

i have sport. thank you very little. we have the same size rims.

i have a 13mm spacer up front, a 20mm in the back, im slammed, and i don't rub.

whats wrong with this picture? we're not off topic. no one knows why you cant fit another 3mm. 8mm wont make you rub, 20mm wont make you rub. you are doing something wrong, or not giving us the correct information

You guess are not even talking about the same cars I believe.

express705 is talking about an e90 pre-LCI and e92miami is talking about an 2010 e90, i.e an e90 LCI, and the LCI has a wider track, pushing the OEM 8mm out on each side, making room for smaller spacers than the pre-LCI.

"Any spacer smaller than 10mm will not have a hubcentric lip on it. It's physically impossible since the spacer slides over the existing lip but is not thick enough to take the lip's place (the standard lip still protrudes through the spacer). With a 9mm lip, a 5mm spacer will only leave 4mm of stock lip left for the wheel to rest on. This is important to keep in mind when considering your wheel/spacer setup. A wheel with a beveled edge on the back will not adequately rest on the lip, resulting in a vibration because the wheel is not truly centered on the hub"
