Aa X Pipes And Power Pulleys

Went back to Evolve this Morning to have my AA x pipe and power pulley fitted + custom remap

What can I say ,sounds awesome although it is loud but hey I don't care ,sounds just like a jet fighter now unreal

and the best bit the power increase nearly 30bhp power on graph now 442.5 bhp and I am very happy ,the figures don't really interest me though its the way the thing pulls now ,far more responsive and I feel that this is how the car should be in the first place

The Evolve Boys have taken some pics and vids so they may like to add them to this thread along with the graph if Sal has some time

Anyway a big thanks to the Evolve team and thanks alot for all the coffee and buying my lunch for me , Sal was really helpful Today and a big Thankyou goes out to Him

Nice one Mikey

As you know this is next on my list, but the "sounds like a jet fighter" may make me think again, just how much louder does it make the remus then?

I too sat in a workshop all day to day, having a custom made rear diffuser and rear under tray made...see how that is then when i get it fitted tomorrow...

Marc

it is louder than with just the Remus obviously but not too bad ,I like it but I only drive the car every now and again ,I think as a Daily driver it could become a bit of a pain if your fussy about noise , but boot it and bloody hell does it bark.

interested in your custom diffuser mate pics please when on your car.

Not yet, got the springs but not yet fitted, and no not EDC so i guess that makes it simpler.

Off out for a well earned pint!

yes a lot easier without EDC as your car will work a lot better ,mine needs a lot of work altering top mounts new bump stops etc , will have to wait a bit now as skint for a while lol.

Top work you fella's - Looking forward to hearing your car in a couple of weeks Mikey at the Stafford mini-meet! Now Marc has a custom diffusor to 'show off'! I haven't done any external mods for a while now

Might have to think of something before the meet Got my TVinmotion on order so I can play my music DVD's in the car and it will play on the screen for passengers to marvel at in HD

My mate is business manager at a local dealership - have to see if he wants to join us and bring something nice along? I know they have an X5M on order......

Is it really that much of a difference in torque at the low end or are you overstating it?

If what you're saying is true Evolve will get a LOT of business in the future with the AA x pipe and power pulley fitted + custom remap.

Marc's is an E90 also

As a special treat to you we are meeting up for a photoshoot, I know you will be 'in for pics', so once posted you can 'enjoy yourself' looking at our E90 M3's

Come to the meet! Enjoy an M-Fest!! (oh and S5 and RS4 fest )

Marc's pipes will be concealed behind his custom built diffuser - apparantly modified from a speedboat.....
