If you are asking if you can fold your mirror with keyfob then and also asking
If mirrorr are equipped with motor I would say you car doesn't have motorized mirrors to fold. You can't code in something your car doesn't have the hardware for |

I would say no. The rotating shaft doesn't have any gears attached to it and there's no hint of a motor anywhere. I think the easiest way to tell though would be to look for the manual operation button, located on the driver's door by the window controls. Below the directional pad to adjust the mirror there is a slider to select which side you want to adjust and next to the slider there would be a small button to push. That button folds the mirrors. If you don't have it then you probably don't have power-folding mirrors.
I couldn't find a real good picture but here's one from what looks like a right-hand drive car. You can see the slider selector on the right and the button on the left, forward of the window controls. Hope that helps. |

chasis is E89 module you have to see what NCSexpert shows after the Nettodat.trc file pops up...Look at ncsexpert and see which FRM module you have then choose that daten file of your FRM in your car..

Nice job. I did the same to mine. Upgraded to frm2 and gave myself, welcome lights, AE as DRL, folding mirrors on lock, hold unlock to open windows and sunroof (hold lock to close everything).
It's the tiny things that make the difference. |

I have to: 1 load expert profile... 2 ... read CAS 3 change the value you said (line 0030020...) in NETTODAT.trc (in WORK folder) 4 save as NETTODAT.MAN and here I would close the NCS expert and restart it and go to the step 5? 5 in NCSEXPERT, load "revtor's profile" (or "FSW PSW MAN" which should be the same?) 6 click "Basic Functions" and select "coapiCodeSgByNettoData" and do I change the job here to sg_codieren?? 7 Nettodatenliste: select my NETTODAT.MAN this part is confusing me a bit! 8 click OK to code the car.

Gentlemen
So I just took a stab at this and a few notes: 1) Can I seperate out my sunroof from closing the same time as the mirrors? That's my biggest gripe. The fact that the sunroof always wants to close when the mirrors do. I would like to close the mirrors and have the sunroof close if I hold the button another second or so. When I changed the timing, the mirror closed much faster but so did my sunroof. I like to keep it open in the summer. 2) editing the nettodat.trc file was as easy as editing in notepad, renaming it to nettodat.man and running coapiCodeSgByNettoData under basics in NCSEXPERT. Does this sound right? 3) Also, when I make the change and see it worked.. when I read back the CAS nettodat.trc file, it has the old value in it. |

I saw that but I thought the line we were looking for was 0030020.
I'll give it a shot, thanks.

Sup Guys,
I need some help! I attempted to code my car, now my side mirrors do not fold at all with the key fob. I tried changing the value to "00" at first, when the mirrors didnt fold at all i tried changing it back to its default value of "0F" and the mirrors still will not fold. These are the steps I i took, please tell me what i did wrong or how i can change it back. 1. Load NCS >File>load profile “FSW PSW MAN” 2. F1>F3>select your chassis (E89 for E90 Models) >select “CAS” 3. Press F6 for back 4. Press F4 “process ecu” to select "CAS" 5. Select “READ ECU” 6. Open NETTODAT.trc and change value line 00300200 to "00" (I dont not have value line 0030020 as mention in previous post) 7. Save as NETTODAT.MAN 8 Go back to NCS now hit F5 for basic functions 9. Select "coapiCodeSgByNettoData" 10.Then hit "Ok" Thanks in advance.

No Luck, i cant seem to get it to work. Can someone give me a hand?
These are the following steps i took; 1. Load NCS >File>load profile “FSW PSW MAN” 2. F1>F3>select your chassis (E89 for E90 Models) >select “CAS” 3. Press F6 for back 4. Press F4 “process ecu” to select "CAS" 5. Select “READ ECU” 6. Open NETTODAT.trc and change value line 00300200 from "0F" to "00" (Note: I do not have value line 0030020 as mention in my previous post) 7. Save as NETTODAT.MAN 8 Go back to NCS now hit F5 for basic functions 9. Select "coapiCodeSgByNettoData" 10.On th Pop up under "cas.xxx" i typed "NETTODAT.MAN" 11.Then hit "Ok" Didnt work! I then tried the same process listed above but included the following steps; 12. Select F2 to change the job name to SG_CODIEREN 13.Hit "Ok" 14.Then press F3 to execute the job. The buttons greyed out for a moment, after which the message “Coding ended’ displayed. It still didnt work! Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? At this point i will be happy just getting my mirrors to fold in again. Thanks in advance.
