Need new windows
Im looking for someone or some place who can replace front windows and the window lining at a decent price and quality. Any suggestions? The heat has taken toll on the liner and I have a lot of chips on my front window. Thanks

My windshield got hit by a rock so I'd like to have that small ding repaired! The black rubber lining holding the windshield is nasty too, need to have that replaced asap!

Just bought the strip and replaced it myself. Didn't take long at all. If you have some help it will probably take half an hour. Took me an hour with help because we were being really careful and I was trying to get all the previous adhesive out before putting the new one on.

I've asked the dealership and they were telling me that they would have to remove the whole window in order to get that pealing weather strip replaced. But they're probably trying to make some money off of me. I ended up just chipping the dam thing off couple months ago. Went through washes and rains, no leaks. So I'm hoping its safe. (just my experience, i'm not recommending it) If its as easy as you said to replace it, i may have to give it a shot. |
