Easy Lowering?

2010 335 Xdrive - Looking to drop it just a bit, 1"-1.5" - - - Is there an easy way to do this? Can I buy just a set of aftermarket springs? I keep reading about having to do shocks, coilovers, bumpstops, etc. Don't want to spend a bunch of funds....

Will I gain anything from just installing a set of Eibach springs?

Well the back drop was perfect. But the front gap is about 1.2inch now b4 it was about 2.3~2.5inch i guess.. So im thinkn of changing my rims to 19" to fill the gap

unfortunately I forgot to take the picture b4 installing the spring.. Heres the photo of 2week settled.

I cant really feel the difference of the ride quality. I took a ride of my friends H&R lowered one.. But the ride was terrible. But Eibach seems pretty same like stock
it droped about 1.5inch front and 1.0 inch rear

Are those 17 or 18 inch 193s? I'm also only looking for a slight drop and the back looks okay but the front kind of looks like what I have now.

Same here, my front looks like about the same gap now in stock form. I have the Sport package if that makes a difference, I do not know. A few pics of mine for reference.

I don't have first hand experience, but from what others have gone through when they only install springs w/o shocks their experiences haven't been very good. After they get over the "honeymoon phase" of having a lowered car they start to notice that not putting on new shocks resulted in a poor ride quality.

MassBimmer references that from his first hand experience:
