Tire size for 18x9.5 and 18x10.5
Yoo so im really thinking of getting the ESR CR5 hyper silver in 18x9.5 for the front and 18x10.5 for the rear on my 2007 335i coupe, completely stock so far but i plan on getting coilovers same time as wheels and tires, and if im lucky completely redo brakes all around with a nice drilled n slotted set.
For the tires i had Kenda Kaiser KR20A in mind because they are cheap and have a good rep from what ive seen so far. Since front will be 9.5 and typically you would want to run a 255-275if you want a pretty straight up sidewall, unless you want to stretch it (which i dont want to because im not rich and can replace tires all the time, but id like a stage 1 meaty stretch or so, just not having the rim sucked up by tire) and for 10.5 typically try to run like 275-295 i think. So i was going to go 255/35 on the front and 275/35 on the back. Totally prepared and going to order a fender roller from eastwood anyway but does anyone run the same setup or know if thats going to be an okay fitment for a nice kinda meaty look. The car is stock as of now but soon after i walnut blast and pop some index 12's in, new spark plugs, coilpacks and such i will be starting FBO and MHD in hopes to go big single, the twin setups are nice but i love seeing that top mount haha. Anyways just wanting to know if a simple fender roll will be enough and if they will fit inside wheel well and not poke out super crazy lmfao. Have seen a few builds that run the same setup, even seen some that run that on 19inch wheels so im sure it might fit with fender rolling and maybe little camber? But just skeptical lmfao dont want to mess up and wait longer Any help at all would be appreciated! Sorry if i left anything out or whatever just kinda wrote and not looking back haha Last edited by BrendeN54; 02-19-2023 at 09:24 PM.. |

I aint thinking about doing that setup anymore it didnt even sound right when i thought about it idk why i thought such a big tire for a stock car lmao. Tryna decide if 245/40 or 245/35 if i can find a good brand with that size for good price, and then 265/35 for rear. And switching up to megan racing coilovers since they are like $200 more but come with a camber plate, can adjust dampening and some ppl say they are just rebranded BC's lol which idk if thats true but still looks better than solowerks tbh. Totally prepared to roll fenders tho lmao so not an issue

Not that it really matters since you're not an XI, but typically you want a 235/40 front if you run a 265/35 rear and 275/35 rear if you run a 245/40 front just to keep the diameters close. I currently run 235/35 front and 265/30 rear but my car is lowered.
