If any of you guys are thinking about sending some money to the Red Cross or other charities, please consider donating directly to the source instead. A good friend of mine lost everything...cars, house, and everything in it. He's a great kid who lost both of his parents and takes care of his younger brother and anything you can spare would go directly to helping him get back on his feet.

I'm not bad mouthing the Red Cross or any other organization but with the amount of money I hear being donated I don't think Staten Island is getting the help it needs.
