Oil and carbon in throttle body

Does anyone know if its normal to have lots of carbon and oil in the throttle body? I was cleaning mine out and noticed a lot of carbon and oil.

My car has about 50K on it. It's had the head replaced a few times and the EGR was done awhile back.

Now if I understand correctly diesel engines do not have a throttle body. My guess: This is a unit to stop a runaway engine.

Never heard of a runaway engine? Check this out.

This could be normal build up for diesel engines...I don't see any "carbon" deposits in the picture. Carbon build up is pretty much dry, hard stuff.

amigo you have a problem use any DIESEL additive injector cleaner and cetane booster and run your car like a pimp rides his two cent whore and the car hopefully will get rid of it, or otherwise go to the STEALERSHIP so they can rip you a new ahole, sorry i had to be this crude but its a fact!!

Looks normal and I don't believe its hurting anything. Forced induction is dirty business.
