I was at 76K kms, tuned for about 70K of those. Sold the car because it started falling apart. Besides HPFP and injectors/ignition coils, an axle was replaced (??), front transfer case, intercooler, boost aggregators, shock tower plates for random noise, etc. ... Even the (auto) shifter assembly because the wiring broke. Anyone who does a lot of steptronic shifting - be careful and search the threads - the assembly is so badly designed that if you use the M mode a lot you will likely break it.

All in all... sad to see it go as was planning to go big turbo. Ah well

2008 335i Coupe.
Bought it April 2012 with 60k on odometer

Just turned 80k miles this past weekend!
I live 10 minutes from the office and have been tuned JB4 E85 since 65k.

Issues:

Both Vanos solenoids
Needs coil packs now (have a pretty bad miss on cold days when the engine is cold)
H&R lowering springs have been eating tires (not really power train related though)

I love this car. I come from a die hard GM family and I get shit for this car everyday. Admittedly they joke that I have no other car to dream about buying bc this is my dream car. Unfortunately they are wrong (997!!).

I've got 111.8k miles on mine currently, it's an '07 E90 335i that i got two years ago when it had 52k on the clock. It's bone stock except for an alarm system. Other than the water pump suddenly shitting the bed about a month or two ago I've not really had anything unexpected happen.

@115k miles...about to do some maintenance:

Oil pan gasket
Oil filter housing gasket
Valve cover gasket

If you plan on keeping the car for a long time go ahead and buy these gaskets, you will need to replace them around 100k. This car's oil runs so hot that it is going to cook gaskets no matter what...

So far, it's been smooth sailing for me. Had it serviced a few thousand miles ago. Never had a problem with it. Well, there is one problem. My washer fluid light won't go away!

This is the highest mileage one I have seen and I am a dealer so I pulled the autocheck to make sure it was legit. Lol

226k Miles One owner and One Accident. Scary thing is it showed no service records.

Slightly off topic, but im looking to get another 335i, sold my previous one.

Its at 70,000 miles, just had a full service done it to it.

My previous one was sold at 50,000 with 0 problems stock. Im wondering if you guys think 70,000 is a okay level to be getting one at.

Reason being is financial, i cant afford to spend more for less mileage but am dying to get that n54 back!

thoughts?

Yeah, I drive A LOT! lol. Daily commute is about 80 miles a day (part highway, part country roads). I took her through the Dragon twice and many, many, other road trips

Honestly, if you're looking for an older mileage car due to financial reasons than I would suggest NOT to get a 70,000 mile one. Chances are you will pay significantly more money up front for the "lower" mileage bimmer and still need to do around $5,000 worth of replacement/maintenance work (if you take it to the dealership) between approx 80k and 100k.

At least that is my experience. I do my own work (which would probably scare the dealer earlier in the thread, since I don't have a documented history of being raped by BMW services) so I was able to keep my own costs down to around $2k over the past year.
