Whats the difference between Sport Suspension and Base Model?

I noticed that on tirerack they had no results for a 330xi with sport suspension but they had 56 results when I selected the Base Model. Whats up with that?

There is no such thing as a "sport suspension" on the xi version of the car. You can get the car with a "sport pack" which only includes the seats and stearing wheel, but no different suspension.

espo89...You're wrong, man. The suspensions have different calibration in Sport package compared to that in the base model. If you read the brochure again.

Stiffer suspension, a bit lower stance, sportier ride. Not sure for the all wheel drive though.

No... Actually you are wrong since he was talking about the 330xi (the AWD version) which does NOT have a different suspension setup with the sport pack. I should know, I have a 330xi with the SP in my garage right now!

There seems to be a slight miscommunication between you two. Actually neither of you is wrong.

What espo is saying is that if I choose the Sport package version I will not get any different suspension than if I did NOT choose the sport package. The 330xi has the same suspension on it no matter what.

What pretender was saying was basically the last sentence above.^^ The 330xi has its own special suspension calibration which is different than the 330i Sport package and NON sport package.

Am I right guys?

Your right on both points... The 330xi with and with out the SP have the same suspension. That suspension is different that both the 330i and the 330i SP (it's somewhere between the 2 in terms of stiffness).
