This user posted a tutorial on the DIY for installing an amp and earthquake subs into his e90. I'm just wondering if the e92 is wired/built the same way where I could still follow his instructions and do just the same steps to the same effect. I did notice that the center console looks different, so that may make a difference.

I used this DIY a few months ago when upgrading my 2008 e92 with SWS-8 and had no problems. I understand if you are later model year (maybe 2010?+) the enclosure box is a little different.

this is a great DIY for the under seat subs and AMP.

that alone makes a huge difference.
