i think by 3 or 4, we'll most likely call it a day... i expect that people will start coming to alki around 12, hopefully most of them show up by 1, we'll start bbq and take some pictures or whatnot, hang out, talk and by 3 to 4, i'm sure people will get bored and start to leave... just as usual... i'm not a big of party planner and don't know what to do with this many people... any idea as far as activity goes? lol

I'll be taking photos constantly for sure. If anyone wants photos of their car only just hit up the small Asian guy with a camera and I guess we can try to find a suitable setting near the lot?

I'm looking at last year pictures.. there's 28 marked spots so it will be close if everyone shows up.

Its a great spot since there's a long concrete bench to sit on and cook and have folks look at the cars.

The boat launch is kind of problem since we'd likely get kicked out do to taking up spots for trucks with trailers.

If that spot doesn't work out.. I would say we hit up Saltwater State Park just south of SeaTac..

Has crazy amount of parking and picnic tables and and an overhead gazebo with bbq grills - looks like first come fist serve tho.

Sunday will be a very sunny day - no doubt there will be people that will complain about limited space for their trailers and such.

How long will the BBQ being going on for? I just remembered I have a Go Kart event at pacific raceways @ noon. I'd love to make both events if we will be hanging around Alki for a couple of hours.

Also what is the status on the location?

It's probably a 4 out of 5 on the difficulty scale. You need a couple special tools and there are some tricky parts I can definitely help you out with but I would be ready for at least a solid day taking it out and day putting it back in if you have a good garage space to do the job in.

On the other hand, northwest differential in Kirkland (right next to the Infinity dealer and only a couple blocks down from Carb Connection). charged me something like 2 or 3 hours for the lsd install into the diff. housing which you will NEED them to do either way, and they said it would only be ~8 hours to have them do the whole task.

So I think the drop it off and pick it up would cost you probably $400-600 more vs a solid weekends worth of time under your car split into two jobs.

Things are looking good on my end(not that end) most likely my son and I will be showing up at this weekend meet. are we not definite with location? Last BBQ meet spot is really ideal for us this time, can hold lots of car.

Do it!

That mod is on my list, but unfortunately I have to spring for the whole final drive unit (~$3500 for the part) since I have a welded diff.

LSD's are for wimps. You should've got the AWD

I think my next big mod will by KW-v3's or BBK. But that might wait till next year since I don't plan on road racing the car this summer.

Great! Does that mean you can take me too? You don't have to since I'm sure that Tuan can, but I'd prefer an E93 for easier rolling shots.
