Congrats Terry! Nice times!..
The true question is, how will the engine hold with this setup in the long run. Right now it seems golden, but one has to be sure its also safe and reliable to the engine.. |

Wow, that are big times. Those who hate, just remember this we are in the 11's. The community is looked at by outsiders as a whole. These numbers are no NO2 and this is ground breaking for our car and our DME.

Wow, awesome times Terry! And Mr.5!
I had a lot of fun in San Diego at the BMW CCA autocross. I'll post up pics again once I get a chance . I definitely wasn't lacking in power... just in race suspension and driver skill .

Really happy to see a fellow manual driver under the 12.5 mark. Thats my goal for the spring. Those are some great 60 ft times.
Way to go Mr. 5 Quote:

No offense, because Terry seems like a nice guy but I don't trust any times run by the tuner themselves. With all the VIP sh*t going on and the fact no one has duplicated these times or any other tuners times (that I've seen) with the same mods, its just not worth believing until a completely independent 3rd party does it with the same mods on a different car.

Hotrod hit 12.2 with his car running the same tune, but he has less mods than Terry. There's ur 3rd party

I doubt that there is any foul play here with Mr.5 and Terry ETs being so close. Terry was cutting much better 60 foot times and is running an auto with catless DPs probably making a little more power than Mr.5's 6 speed catted DP'd car. The times seem to be right on the money.
Kudos to both of you! edit-Mr.5 I see above that you stated you have catless DPs... weren't you running catted before? |

Terry is disclosing his mods. He discloses when he is on race gas. His power matches other tuners at similar boosts. I doubt a single person will doubt these numbers to be honest. It is just a simple fact. |

Like I said, I respect Terry but there is nothing wrong to reserve judgement until a 3rd party with the EXACT same mods run the same times.
For example, in the golf club industry, do you honestly believe a manufacturer's infomercial when they claim 10, 20, 30+ yards over what your currently playing? If that's the case I'd be hitting 450 yard drives by now. 3rd party verification and is nothing new and just personally, something I think should be required until I'm going to say bravo. I have nothing against Terry at all, I love reading the comedy of VIP on his site but I don't think anyone should call me out for being skeptical of him or anyone else. That being said, I would be most likely to believe him over the other tuners. Heck, some guys were calling BS on the numbers of the Dinan tune when it came out. Why are you so quick to believe other, much smaller tuners? |

Wow, so much praise.
Keep it up guys because my ego has never been this big. Seriously speeking, I've always considered myself to be a pretty quick shifter, but I think this does prove that I really do know how to shift. It was a fun day but I really wish my 60 foots were better. They were good but I've had better in the past. I was running the UR catted DPs, but then I purchased the catless DPs. (Can you believe I installed these twice?) I'm going to add the high flow cats to the middle of my car instead of on the DPs. I'm thinking that this would provide better results. Quote:

I know it's hard to believe, but I was there the whole time except for hotrod running the 12.2
I left a little early. Terry's time is completely legit with his JB2HHR on race gas. He ran in the 11s 3 times. His 60 foots are key to these times. He was on slicks for heaven's sake so this is one of the reasons for the 1.7 60 foots. Quote:
