Here and present but still few weeks out. From lessons learned in the past more than half of peeps cancel due to other priorities. If not many commit to this closer to date will cancel. So let's hope for good turnout.

just a friendly suggestion: you have to work the thread if you want to sustain interest and have more people look in.

if you let the thread get stale, it will prevent new people from signing on and possibly lose out on some that have already shown interest.

i.e. posts above asking if this thing is still a go. just 2 weeks out

Now that's what I'm talking bout. All my family is still in the valley and this Wed/Thurs South Padre Island is going to be in the 80s temp wise. Might make a quick trip to Padre as long as I'm down there.

a lot of spring breakers are going to be down there pretty soon.

Well don't really care for the spring breakers, clubs, hotels etc. but few years back the main strip on Padre would be bumper to bumper jam packed at night for cruising til 3-4 AM. I think that's where I lost most of my hearing from riding around many years in my cars with systems pumping 150+ Dbs.
Heck one of my cars was a 98 GT with two 15" Fosgate Punch subs taking up whole trunk other was a brand new Tahoe with 15" Kickers with 3 Audio Control processors pushing over 1000W. Talk about flipping quarters on the roof. The good ole days!!! Now I'll be surprised if I can stay awake over midnight I'm OLD no bueno
