1/4 mile question.
For those of you who are Auto n54 and have tracked your car with street tires. What did you find the best way to launch, shift, was. For example : brake boosting with reaction all way off launching in 2nd gear at 2500 rpm for example? shifting manually at 5800? What works best

Lower tire pressure, all traction control off, launch 2500-3000 RPM in second gear. Try shifting manually around 6200 RPM. Do you have Alpina flash? Highly recommended.

I'm xi, so I always launch in 1st
Usually boost anywhere from 2500-3k I'd hit that paddles at 5800, car would shift right at 6k-ish That was cutting me the best times. |

only disable traction control not stability control, I never disable the stability control because even with my LSD the amount of low end torque will send you to the wall, not worth it for a minor 0.05s gain

My best on all-season tires have been a few 1.9Xs. With traction control fully off, I hold my 1er at around 2000 then let off the brakes while gradually increasing the throttle depending on how well the tires are hooking.

Brake boosting in 2nd gear with traction control completely turned off has worked well enough for me. Make sure you don't hit the kick down when you take off.

Looking to go back in January with the addition of some catless downpipes and better tires. Hope to break into the 11s if the weather cooperates.

Same here. I'm still on street tires, but they are a summer performance tire and not an all season tire like the last couple times (including the run in my signature).

I just bought a new set of wheels for the car, so I'll probably put a set of drag radials on the stock rear wheels to run in the future.

Tire psi to 23-25.
BMS kickdown blocker, launching in 2nd gear (M2) and then manually shifting at 6000rpm. It works well, 1.8 60ft on a 275 summer tire.
