I dont see where you think changing tunes will give you better results. You even have verified proof that it won't.

Learn how to drive your car better and rerun in some better conditions.

I pulled a 1.8x 60 ft time and multiple 1.9x 60 ft times in a MT coupe w stock RFT's. It can be done, just learn how to drive your car.

Raffy, based on the V3/JB3 run, the tunes look to be very similar.

1) Your reaction time was almost .3 seconds slower
2) AT will walk MT 95% of the time
3) XI > I specially on runflats

In the end, the XI was some 0.4 seconds faster. Why would that even be a surprise to you?

Having said that, even if you were slower off the line and losing time shifting, you had pretty much similar/better trap speed, that I find very revealing.

BTW, are you going to Tremblant next week with BMW QC Club?

Note: I am no drag expert.

AT XI vs MT I? For a drag race you have all the disadvantages possible. Except for your tune

Thoughts on why he lost 3mph / 30whp between runs?

Same reason he was cutting 2.2-2.3 60' times.

It seems reasonable to me that without traction you're not going to get a good ET. I'm not a drag racer (prefer the road course), but shouldn't MPH stay around the same regardless of the 60' time? 103mph is stock like...

Trap speed is dependent of shifting speed and shifting RPM. So 6MT don't have it so easy. A single mis-shift can kill both ET and trap. It's interesting that the v3 car trapped higher than the jb3 despite old map, 6mt and traction disadvantage.

Shiv,

I wasn't trying to draw a comparison to the JB3 car. The time slip summarized that quite well at the bottom. I was asking your thoughts on why the V3 car was running high 13s @ 103mph during some of the runs...

I would want to drag in nothing but 6MT RWD! Where's the skill otherwise

My guess would be if you were both stock he would still have you. You need to work on your launches and 60' times then it looks like you will have him.
