Well as an update I got a very long email back from Carly support, and the bottom line is there currently isn't a way to monitor turbos boost pressure. This sucks as I was hoping to do it after paying so much for Carly and the cable lol, but I guess I needed it to pull / clear fault codes anyways.

I use the Torque Pro app to get a boost reading. The funny thing is I use the Carly adapter to get the info for the Torque app. It works pretty good for what I need.

If you mean coding new injectors, no it's not possible with Carly. You can get a great BMW Standard Tools download which includes INPA, which you can use to code injectors, from bimmergeeks.net.

Note that not all options may work on your vehicle but they are still there, IE. Auto eject fob when car is shut off doesn't work for me, Nether does auto unlock doors. I think that is just because of my early model e90 though (06') I see you have an e92 so I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and say most of them would work for you.

There is even a quick coding example in the video at around 2:30(I've also coded the digital spedo and realtime digital MPG a few months back and they have stuck no problem.), I recorded it in HD so you can go full screen and pause the video to read all the options. I did cut out when it was reading from the ECU as I didn't want you to have to sit and watching a progress bar for a minute lol.

If you don't already have Carly Pro (I'm guessing you do not otherwise you probably would not be asking), then your yearly subscription includes everything.

No. You'll need INPA or something like the Foxwell OBD scanner.

Hi, i own carly 2nd gen and got that grandfather plan sorta speak...although i have a question for other experienced carly owner and or user ...

Have anyone ever tried the ‘NOX’ or ‘Exhaust’ option yet ? What does these actually do to the car ?

I’ve tried and know about the instant regen request etc but have no idea about these other two

If anyone can shine a light about them and pls make sure you have tried it before and not heard from others what it does. Also pls state your year and model of vehicle

I've been searching for an option to monitor automatic transmission fluid temperature (for use while changing it). I saw one comment early on, in this thread, about it. However, I have not yet seen it as an option in the parameters section.

If you have MHD you can monitor it

I've had it before but it isn't compatible with my current device, which is why I was asking about Carly.

I suspect that if you uninstall the old app you'll lose your backups.

Worked fine for me. I now have the old and new versions installed on my iPhone.

It worked for me as well. I think people were having trouble if they updated before it was actually released. I updated/graded a couple of weeks ago and it worked perfectly. No issues. This was on an Android.

I had real problems upgrading - I was eligible for the upgrade (after I had sent them the code from my original order on Google Play) but I wasn't getting a pop-up when I started the New version.

The instructions from Carly said to select the Migration option from the Settings menu, but I couldn't find the "Settings" anywhere, until - after quite a few emails back and forth with support - it finally clicked that you can scroll the Tiles in the Cockpit view and that's where the Settings tile was.

It's all working now, but am I the only Carly user who didn't realise that you can scroll the Tiles in the Cockpit view to reveal additional Tiles?!
