I don't think you guys understood what I said. These wheels are not reps in the way that varrstoens are. These are still forged 3 piece wheels that essentially cost more than most of the 3 piece wheels in this thread. Only the design is a replica of the older OZ Turbos which were never made in this size I'm pretty sure. Technically this this rotiforms are ranked higher than the oz's being that they are made with 2014 technology. OZ Turbos are from the 90s

It's still a replica wheel. No matter how you make it sound. Rotiform took another companies design and made that wheel with their name on it... just like the x5 at the top of this page. Yes Rotiform is expensive and are a good mfg. But it's not the original design or the original mfg. Which is what makes wheels what they are, the design.

if that's the way you think then nearly everything on earth is a replica. like fruit of the loom underwear is a replica of hanes too right?

the car scene is so saturated with this whole "fuck fake parts" shit its so annoying.

Whatever replica/fake.// who gives a damn.., If another company can make the same wheel with good quality for less. they are getting my money..

plus those wheels arent "fake" they are inspired on a sexy popular design... its like saying no one can make any more flat/5spoke wheels///no more cars with square headlights...

...lololol.. get a life..
and this..:

the comparison was just to show how stupid it is. there is a diff between cheap replica wheels (ie rotas) and rotiforms. to bash roti forms because they have a similar design (same as most wheels that look good do, just a variation of an original design) is redic.

also, I don't see anybody say "reps are just as good" they simply said, this thread is about the "stance" of the car. If a car is sitting on a nice set of varrstoens, quality coilovers/tires and such, why bash the car because he didn't want to purchase a 4k set of wheels?

the only argument ive heard (At meets and such) that is SEMI valid is that they feel it takes away from the guys who DO purchase real wheels. but then again, you are purchasing works for compliments? or are you buying those wheels because that's what YOU want? the people that are really into cars are going to differentiate a set of real BBS or Works from a set of reps without hesitation

(by the way, I have a set of varrstoens and they fit AWESOME, even tho I am saving up for a set of works I prob wont even get rid of these.)

.
however we are all entitled to our own opinion. and that's mine. not gonna take the thread anymore off topic than it really is.

ok that was long, but whatever. /endrant

Sounds good to me. I never bashed anyone's car. All I have been saying is there is a difference between the original mfg of the design and wheel vs the one that has been copied. Never knocked the stance or car, just made a simple statement.
