Well, I was all set to order a 2013 F30 335i when the new ordering guides came out but just happened to stumble across the Motorweek review of the 2011 335is which caught my attention. N54, DCT, Coupe make for an interesting looking package especially since I don't need 4 doors. Checked with the SA I'm working with and they have four 335is w/DCT on the lot plus he said I could still order one through May 13.
I'm really looking forward to test driving one tomorrow. I loved the 2012 335i I drove and will be interested in how the 335is stacks up against the newer generation. I'm a little concerned about buying a car at the end of it's life cycle but at least they should have all of the early problems and teething pains worked out by this point. Who knows, maybe by tomorrow at this time I'll be on the way to joining you E92 owners |

Congrats, wish I got 19's on my 335is.
I have the same setup and options except I was one month short of getting BMW Apps. They also didn't give me free SAT for a year. I was able to still get BMW Apps another way aftermarket.
I can tell you that the 335is after adaptation sets in or something else is happening it can be a little un-settling with the power loss. I don't think I'm getting to use to the power. It feels like the 335is is 30 HP short of where it needs to be. When it was new I was thinking it had to much power and easy to spin the wheels (likely from new tires and new engine) and light pressure on the gas would deliver the power. Now one year later and only 8k miles the gas peddle is a little slushy and you have to go deeper into the peddle. Also when it was new highway passing was a breeze. Same thing now it will lag after going into kick down and rev and make noise but there isn't that linear boost of power anymore. One thing you can do if you want more exhaust noise is disconnect the exhaust valve control which is behind the left tail light from inside the trunk. Then find a nice tunnel and do a run. Incredible to have both pipes open. I'm thinknig of going the software route also, maybe Dinan for the warranty. Quote:

Congrats. 62,100, that can't be the out-the-door price. A M3 was about 58k back in 2008. LOL I think the days of the 2k factory nav are coming to an end. The new Altima has a 7" touchscreen for $590.

Think you have a problem....no logical reason for a power loss.
On the exhaust flap, it will throw an ghost error code but will cause no actual problems. Plug it back in & the code goes away. If you run a JB4 you can turn it on/off through the steering wheel buttons.

I am currently running this test tune and very capable of making 11s, with a good FMIC (above 93% increased volume), good traction, no meth, no DPs, no DRs. The majority of tunes on the market need more than just a FMIC to even get low 12's @OP - Congrats on your new car.....its a lease so I cant really comment on what tune for you to go with and be able to resell that holds it value. |

I REALLY want to tune it up.. but i am not sure if i will trade it in for the new M3 when it comes out.. It's a really hard decision, i may just keep it and tune the heck out of it..

I didn't do it myself. I took it to a local car audio shop and they did it for me. It's awesome because it's setup where as soon as i start the car, the passport also turns on. So i never have to reach for the passport lol

not at all...$3500 up front...includes all the fees and shit...NO additional down payment
$665/month options: red/blk leatherette, 19'' rims, bluetooth, PDC, Heated seats and HK sound system Its pretty bare bones but i tried to keep the payments as low as possible and i really wanted to make this car all about the driving with minimal technological distractions...i.e. i dont wanna be changing my music through iDrive when i could be listening to that beautiful exhaust note lemme know if u have any other questions |

Crimson red with black interior. That is my exact car! Welcome, fellow Crimson red lover. Crimson red seems be very rare and looks fantastic on the 335is as it makes the black 'is' trim stand out. You will love it. Be ready for a ton of attention/compliments. And just to whet your appetite... |
