I've been running this set up for almost four years. No problems yet. Can't imagine there would be. Make sure to flush fluids according to Mike Miller's recommendations in Roundel.

I posted this somewhere around E90post during the last few months. Here it is again:

Mike Miller suggests:
Turbocharger Warm-up and Cool-down
Brake fluid once every year
Oil and filter once every 5000-7500 miles, Redline 10W-40
Flush coolant once every two years
K&N oiled cotton gauze filters, clean every 15,000 to 30,000 miles depending on icondition, use only K&N approved cleaner and oil, and follow K&N cleaning
procedures.
Interior Air Filter: Variable every 15,000 (if on all the time) to 30,000 miles
Power Steering Fluid change every 30,000 miles
All-wheel drive transfer case every 30,000 miles (TF0870 83 22 0 397 244 (1 Liter))
Spark plugs every 30-45K
Fuel Filter: Variable every 30,000 to 60,000 miles (E90 is in the fuel tank, $200 part)
ATF fluid flush refill and filter at 60,000 mile
Water pump, thermostat at 60K
Engine Drive Belts...Replace O.E. or O.E.M. BMW poly-ribbed serpentine belts every 60,000 miles. Replace O.E.M. Continental or Pirelli or original BMW V-belts every 30,000 miles.
Radiator, etc at 90K
Coolant and fuel hoses at 150K
Oxygen sensors at 150K (pre-cat and post-cat)
NOT Deltran Battery Tender Plus (www.batterytender.com) for storing these
cars longer than a week, but use BMW Advanced Battery Charging System.

You're correct, but running a 275 rear starts to get a little tricky unless you get the offset of your wheels just about perfect. Otherwise you have to roll your fenders. That's why most folks go with a 265 rear, which works just fine with a 235 front, as it's still less than the 1% over difference (front to rear) BMW recommends.

What would the perfect offset be to run 275 in the rear with out rolling the fenders?

You should be fine if you're stock height, lowered you might need to roll your fenders a bit.

Also not all tires are the same size, for instance Falkens tend to run quite a bit narrower than Michelins. Look, there are TONS of guys running 275's out back, hell even 285's. You just have to be smart about it and get your fitment right, ESPECIALLY if you're lowered.

And fender rolling isn't a big deal. If it's done right you won't even know it's been done. I just wanted to make sure you were aware it was something else to consider if you're gonna run a 275 rear.
