Anyone know where there are partial vins or full vins located on the car besides windshield, engine bay, license plate and door jabs. I heard something about the transmission and engine bay

If you want the peace of mind to see whether your vehicle was tampered around with (whether you're looking to buy or don't trust your mechanic) download Carly for BMW, get a K+DCAN cable, and do the used cars check. This will tell you if VINs are electronically different.

If your "on a budget" why have the car then? These aren't cheap cars to own and maintain.

I'm not blasting your financial status. I'm just trying to say if you REALLY want to figure out if your car was tampered with cough up the dang resources to get this resolved once and for all.

Or sell it and be done with the "headaches" it's giving you.
