H&R rubbing issues? & a curious question

hey everybody, hoping someone or some people on here can help me, my H&R springs have turned up yesterday!! and should be in the next couple of weeks touch wood waiting for pay day to order some ebb discs & new pads as mine are on the way out.

anyway on to my questions, was as the petrol station earlier today & got speaking to a guy at the pump next to me (may be off here not sure never asked!!) he has a black 320d e90 around 08-09 and I asked if his was std height as it was quite low to which he said no I'm on h&r and how he has had nothing but problems with them & they are rubbing to this very day. Alarm bells are now going off in my head thinking that I'm going to change my springs * I'm going to be having issue after issue with rubbing my arch liners away??

he had the same set up that I'm going o have, m sport dampers with H&R springs 35mm front 20mm rear.

can anybody advise me on this?

my next question is about m3 mirrors.

would love to find a set but I would not have a clue as to which other platform would fit as e91 never came with them. do I need to find exact spec to war I have (electric with no auto adjust/auto fold) or will any plug & play??

also what sort of guesstimate price would a set be??

thank you for any help & hope everyone is having a good christmas!

Shaun

And i and many others had no rubbing issues. Right now my car is lower than u would be on h&rs

On my winters...no rubbing
On my summers...rubbing

All depends on the wheels and off sets etc. Hell standard ride height can rub with wide enough wheels.

Stop worrying man...h&rs are tried and tested!

Rubbing depends on wheel specs, tire size, and whether or not you've done any fender work(if you're going for an aggressive stance). If you're on stock wheels there is no chance of rubbing since the wheel fitment is very conservative.

M3 mirrors go for £300-£400 AFAIK.

Pretty sure you will need an e90 set too

Rubbing will purely be down to his fitment.
