Does the 245 n/a tune include M cars? Bargain if so.

We can offer stage 2 fully custom mapping for £345.00 all in until the end of January (normally £495.00) , with a £45.00 deposit to secure the place.

We tuned a 335i with full exhaust and intercooler last week which made 404hp with crazy torque.

Hey Ben

You will see approx 180hp and 300 - 310lbs/ft torque from our remap.

As well as the power hike, we achieve a much wider band of power with smoother delivery.

Again, a £45.00 deposit secures a place at the sale price until the end of January.

Hi!

The P-Torque remap will give you approx 205hp and 310lbs/ft torque. You will have the car set up on the dyno, along with graph print outs before and after.

If you check our website, you will see we tune this engine for race teams in the Dunlop Maxx series.

We are based in Wolverhampton, postcode WV5 8AP.

I had a very successful trip up to Wolverhampton on Tuesday.

My 320d had already been remapped by another tuner a couple of years ago, and i was never that impressed by it. I also wanted to make the most of the panel air filter, exhaust and fmic swap recently completed on the car

Onto the dyno for a 'before' test it produced 191hp and 300 lbs torque, not bad but following Wills handywork we managed to see 224bhp ! and 331lbs torque ! - much more than the previous (rather suspect) map from the other tuner and a big improvement over the original bmw map. The forge intercooler should also help to maintain these figures during the warmer months as it is 75% larger than the oem one and will reduce the inlet temps significantly

Im really pleased with the linear power delivery and the way it maintains it from low revs right through to around 4400rpm (quite high for a diesel imo)

anyway top service Will, many thanks, the cars been transformed whilst still maintaining incredible fuel economy, I cant recommend P Torque enough

Kind of a reverse idea to what most people are requesting but can you remap a diesel engine, not for speed, but to make it uber-efficient???

I'm particularily thinking about what improvements can be made on my wifes X3. It's a 56 plate 3.0d M Sport (pre-ED model), auto, got caught in the higher road tax bracket due to its emmissions before BMW quickly revised the xdrive model in Sept 2006. It's currently averaging around 27/28mpg (currently 27.1mpg).

I'm purely looking at improving the mpg - what sort of real-life gains do you think are realistic.

Yes, this is possible, by adjusting the open time of the injectors and optimising torque limiters we can develop ''eco'' mapping to improve MPG.

Improvments in economy vary, but 15% tends to be a realistic improvement, so if your 3.0D is returning 28mpg, we should be able to look at approx 32 - 33mpg once we have adjusted the software.

i know its a stupid question, but do you usually find to get better mpg with the remap on a 2006 320d 160hp model? also what would the normal price be compared to the special offer price? cheers

Hi There

Yes, MPG improves even with normal mapping. More torque is part of the reason behind getting improved MPG as less throttle input is required to maintain a certain speed, so in fact there is no real need to go for a Eco specific map.

The remap for your 2006 model from the beginning of February will be £295.00 all in, and £25.00 if you want dyno power runs before and after.

Thanks for the information; I'll have a think. I'm seriously thinking about changing it due to the poor mpg, a remap would be MUCH cheaper, but not as effective as the latest diesel engines in a lighter car.

I'll have a ponder now that I have a cheaper alternative option as it might just buy me some time .

Having just re-read my post I wanted to make clear I'm not knocking your improvements (15% is very good) but in the long term, for me, things like brake-regeneration, start/stop, etc, etc, etc, in a new car might give me a better long term solution (but also cost more too). I'm not comparing apples with apples.

Wow, that is an exceptional result for a 320d, obviously the mods working well.

My 330d is there tomorrow
