Not sure anyone is gonna have the OEM part, as most know not to remove it, & even if they did - it would be fubar like yours. Plus, once removed, idk if it's possible to put it back in... Thats' what she said

I guess i might just have to make the other one work with some glue, i can make it so no one would even notice, but i really didnt wanna have to do that.

I bought a sport airbag from a guy that did the exact same thing. I ended up completely removing the manhandled emblem from the airbag (its held in by 3 tabs that are bonded into the plastic). I ordered quite a few emblems including the CF one and none of them completely filled the hole where the previous badge was. I ended up carefully cutting some black felt into a ring and laying it in the badge location then gluing the replacement badge (anyone one you choose) in place. The felt ended up filling in the 2mm gap around the emblem quite nicely. It actually looks very nice now.

Was it hard to get that cover off? or did you not take the cover off?

I did not remove the cover. I used a small flat head screwdriver and carefully "encouraged" the emblem to come out. Eventually the metal tabs holding it in get fatigued enough and just let go. Once one tab is gone the rest is easy.

So did you use the metal piece underneath it, or remove it alltogether? And how did you get the thing to stick back on, did you shave down the plastic pieces or just use glue or something? Sorry for all the questions, trying to save myself more of a headache!

I removed the metal emblem completely and used silicone to affix the new emblem to the airbag. I may go back at a later date and use epoxy to more permanently secure it.
