328i with jb3 vs 335i stock?

If I bought a 328i and put the jb3 on it, would it be the same as a 335i? meaning would that save me a lot of money and still give me the same performance? or am I better off with a 335i either way. feedback is appreciated. i don't know much about cars either lol

you can put a BMS powerbox in the 328i but that only adds like 10 horsepower

JB3 (which is now updated as a JB4) is only for BMW turbo vehicles, wether it be 135,335,535,Z435i.

328i has BMS Powerbox (Same makers as JB3/4) that remaps the throttle to give you better pedal response and adds around 10hp.

Take a look at Powerbox reviews. Either way a Powerbox 328i isn't faster than a 335i. Hope this helps

You will never be able to get a 328 to a 335's power level without putting a supercharger or turbo on it.
Buy a 335 and tune that, you cant really mod a 328 for power..

Do some research before asking a question like this.

This doesn't make sense. 1) F30 328i would cost more than a E9X 335i and 2) I doubt you could get a F30 328i to put out anywhere near as much power as a 335.

They are still selling both of them right now (Talking brand new for both, unless he was looking for used) and how would a 328i be more than 335i? and the new ones having the turbo, with a tune and whatever else can end up being faster than a stock 335i

I doubt the F30 with a tune could beat a stock 335i and it would get destroyed by a tuned 335i so this thread needs to be closed. No body should be buying a 328i for speed.

theres an article around here I'm not gonna dig it up but i forgot which tuner company said it but they stated they can tune the F30 to get around 280-90 hp.

Sad but true. The 328i with a s/c will yield approx. a 30% increase which will put you around 300hp which just about stack up to a stock 335. With a simple tune for the 335, it can gain 30-80whp -- more than n52's tune and mods can offer.

The n20 is going to surprise a lot if people, especially with the new auto gearbox the f30 is using.
