Frankie installed this for me. Very fast and easy install.
Moral of the story: Frankie's the man!

start with the middle screw so you can position it. and tap the left side and right - make sure to give urself some space for final adjustment. The plate is solid. I even thought at one point to double side tape and screw. yes sand and paint. it's not going be perfect but the paint will hold up. Use trim/bumper matte black paint from the auto store or where ever. come on man - this was simple.

When long did it for me he just did one screw first then aligned it then finished the other screws. it's perfect center for me. i just spray painted the screws and the mount itself matte black. easy.

Ya I live in Pasadena too, and Its pretty scary how the ticketing is there. Ya I vinyled the bottom of the plate so from a distance it doesn't appear to protrude as far into the center opening of the bumper, I just need to do the screws now

i currently have my front license plate zip tied to my bottom grill. I had my car recently serviced at a bmw dealer and they said that im blocking the wind coming in to cool down the radiator? I dont know how much this is true because he turns around right away and tries to sell me the tow hook license plate?

did you need to drill the bumper first? or just screw the self tapping screws right in? and anybody thought of doing this same method but not in the centeR but to the sides?
