Oil pan gasket leak
Hey, anyone know of a good indie to take my 330i to get the oil pan gasket replaced? Or if anyone wants to get paid to do it hahaha, some shops I've asked around wanted around 700 to fix it.
I'm up in north houston I also added the group on FB btw, waiting on acceptance. |

We had a guy went there for complete M3 suspension swap + diff. tie down kit. Heard the owner is a great guy to talk to and the price is reasonable. I was going there to have them adjust my suspension but it's pretty outta my way.

Figure I get my name on here while I collect my research. Going to be buying my dads e90 pre-lci 328i 6MT with sports package within the next few months. So for now I've been just doing some research.
Currently the car has 55k miles and slowly climbing. Once I get the car and save up some money my plans are small cosmetic changes, black grille, black line tails, then I plan on doing the suspension. Was looking at coils but used springs and some koni yellows looks more reasonable since I probably won't be racing the car. Then I was looking at getting some 18" BMW wheels if I can scoop some up for a good price. Like the looks of the 5 spoke wheels that come on the newer 335's Hopefully I'll have the car sooner than later and get rid of my camry. It's been a good car but I'm ready to move on |

I used North Houston Beemer for my oil pan gasket. Nice guys. I used to use Bimmer Workshop but they always seem to be too busy. Sometime it's 5-7 days just to get in with BW. Both of these guys have former dealer master techs running the show from what I understand.I don't think you can wrong with either one.

I need help with 2 things.
First, recommend a good shop to do an alignment. I seem to be striking out. Also need some CODING done. New battery, corner light delete. Thanks Guys. |

The guys at CVT are good friends of mine and I've had my alignment done from them several times. They know what they are doing and often have various high end cars on their alignment rack.

On the boards recommendation last week i got the BMW coded by chris-went very smoothly
and the alignment by CVT-What i like most about CVT is they listened to me and allowed me to be in the shop while they were doing the alignment. BMW effed up my RR toe eccentric bolt and the LF tie rod. I feel like if i wasn't there and understood what was going on they may have just said fk it. But they fixed everything and I'm happy. |

Hey guys,
Newbie member, long time lurker. This is my "initial" 1 post before upgrading to "full" status per the site... a little much but it's cool! I live in The Woodlands and commute in via the bus to Downtown every day, so I plan to get an e90 335i here the first of next year, so I'll be posting some questions related to that and hopefully joining the FB site soon once I get to full status here since it seems all the Houston peeps are there. I initially considered an e46 M3 but for how little I'll be driving it (7500-8000 miles a year, max) I figured the 335i with a DINAN Stage 2 update will get me close but we'll see. It will be my only car, so reliability of the 335i is nice. I thought about the e90 M3 also but good lord... even the '09 models are still quite high and it's hard to find one not modded. Anyway, check you guys later and what's up! EDIT: Just saw that was for the PM function only... anyway, I'm going to add my request to the FB group and my initials are R.O., so anyone who sees this or approves people to the forum, it's gonna be me!
