Folding mirrors!

Hi Guys,
When I picked up the new car the folding mirrors stayed out when I locked the car with CA (Comfort access). Now they fold every time! I think I did something to activate this behaviour when playing but I don't know what that could have been.
Is there a way to get them to not fold when closing using CA. Anyone outhere have any ideas?

Regards
Rob

when you touch the grooves, are you holding your finger there for an extended time? i find that if i keep my finger there for 3 or so seconds, then the mirrors fold.

Just hold your door handle long enough to have the doors lock...leaving your finger there a bit longer will activate the folding mirrors & close open windows/sunroofs (if you had them open).

Nope, its does not seem to be the lenght of time I'm touching the 3 ridges to lock the car. there is a disticnct lock at which point I let go. the mirrors start to fold about 2-3 seconds after that.

Its weird.

Washed the car today, and the car locked and unlocked all the time as the water ran down over the door handles. Key was in my pocket. The mirrors did not always fold either.

For me it is time-based

- touch the groves for half a second or so and it just locks the car without folding the mirrors
- touch the groves for 2 seconds and the mirrors fold also (and the sunroof closes, if open)

I hold my finger there until the mirrors fold and it works everytime.

And yes, why you are washing the car, the CA will go crazy, locking, folding mirrors. It's quite entertaining. There a few threads on this topic
