Ordered a 335is and it's scheduled for Production in week 4. I was checking out the service schedule and figure I'll be on one of these vessels coming into PORT HUENEME, CA. Hopefully the first one!

Quote:
DON JUAN
Departing: January 29th
Arriving: February 23rd

MAERSK WIND
Departing: February 11th
Arriving: March 6th

DON QUIJOTE
Departing: February 26th
Arriving: March 23rd
W&W Schedule: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...pe=generatePDF
Port Hueneme Schedule: http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...l_schedule.pdf

Any other west-coasters on one of these ships?

I ordered a 335i December 23rd and supposedly it's scheduled for production the fourth week of January. If that's true our cars will be on the same ship. I am also located in the Bay Area (East Bay).

My order was placed 12/20. Glad to see some others are in the same boat (literally)! Hey ctodor - I'm upgrading from a 2008 G37 S too! Can't wait to get my hands on the refined BMW .

BTW - What's your status on the website and phone? Mine is still "On Order" but my dealer says it is "Scheduled for Production".

The status on the website says "On Order". Yeah I had a E46 330Ci Coupe before I switched to Infiniti. They both have their pros and cons, I decided to switch back to BMW for now. I am going to miss my 6-MT though.

What part of the Bay Area are you from?

The Infiniti is definitely a great value. It has served me well for the past 3 years. Did you not order your new 335i with a 6 speed? I've been driving manuals all my life but after test driving the DCT I decided to go with that.

I'm from San Jose. Can't wait to burn rubber in the new BMW!

Hi Chris,

Production started today for your 335is Coupe, which usually takes a week to complete. Then, it's usually another week before it's assigned a boat. We're on track for a pick up date of early March.

almost finished

Placed my order for a AW 328i e92 with M-sport on 12/28; just called the 1-800 number (because the "Track My BMW" gives me nothing) and got the update that production will be complete tomorrow!
Hope I'm on that first boat too.

I'm so excited; already ordered the OEM M3 rear deck spoiler and gloss black grill.
19 BBS CH-R's will be here before the car.

I ordered a 335IS Convertible early December. The 800 number says mine will finish production on 01/21. Hopefully mine gets on the ship for 01/29, but then again I guess it depends on how many cars are waiting at the port to be shipped out.

Guys,

My current car is an Infiniti too (signature need update). I have an 08 G37s. Great car and I'm going to miss the back up camera very much. Can't wait to get my 335i coupe though.

Do you guys have the 800's number handy? What info do I need to give them?

thanks.

Yeah that's what I'm really going to miss too. I got Park Assist but I know it's not going to be quite like the rear view camera on the G.

The number is 1-800-831-1117. You will need the Production Order Number which you can get from your Dealer.

Just called the 800 #. My car is in the body shop with a completion date of tomorrow 01/21. Hopefully it gets on the Don Juan vessel departing 01/29 for arrival on 02/23. This is starting to get really exciting!

cksv,

When I test drove the 335is, it has pdc. Pretty nifty and there is guidance on your NAV screen. There is a guy down in the SF that sell backed up cam for the BMW. Hi name is Kris from modmynav.com. I'm going to make a trip down to SF to get it done.
