I saw the last one on the calendar, but I couldn't make it. This might be a good excuse to stop by the E85 station in B.R. and fill up a few cans. I'll keep my eyes open for details (I guess the only other detail I need is what time does it start and end).

New Orleans has a C&C meet too but it's not as big because we can never get the out of town guys down here and a lot of the local crowd likes to hide lol. The meets rotate monthly so the next Nola event will be the first Sunday of Oct. Ill update the calendar on here with both events. |

Are you getting the M4? I am thinking about one for October 2015 delivery. Any M4's on LA streets yet?

I know Peake has sold at least 2 to locals. 1 was a special order that just recently came in and the first one was just a lot car that an acquaintance of mine bought 3-4 weeks ago.

Funny thing is that New Orleans and Metairie have A LOT of BMWs (and Mercedes and Audis) on the road. I moved down here from Prairieville, and had hung out in Baton Rouge a lot, and it was comparatively rare to see a German vehicle on the road, you might see one or two a day. Ironically, I bought my BMW in Baton Rouge at Brian Harris and got a much better deal than anything Peake had on their lot (looking at CPOs). Basically, I got a loaded model for the same price Peake was asking for a base model. Most importantly, B.H. had the color I wanted.

Peake is always high for everything basically. They feel they have the Nola market under lock and key because not everyone is willing to go out of town for a car. We went to Houston for my fiancé's M3. Peake wasn't even interested in doing the paper work or getting the car here for us and we were willing to pay too. |

Airline in Baton Rouge or Metairie? F it was BR and a dark silver, pretty sure it's one I saw last weekend. Had factory competition wheels on it.

Hey everyone, LONG TIME NO POST So I picked up a Fully Loaded (minus sunroof *sadface) 2008 M3 Sedan with only 43k. Its in amazing condition and runs like a champ, garage kept, etc. Anyway, I'm sure I will be poking my head back in the forums often, the 328 I had just got boring, but the M3 has revitalized my BMW driving experience Maybe I will make some meets or something now, who knows! Hope everyone is doing well

Hey guys,
I am thinking about selling my M3. If you are interested in any parts (ex. brembo 380mm bbk, bmw perf seats, hre p101 wheels, oss headlights, bmw perf mirror caps etc.) holla at me.. may try to list the car modded at a good discount but usually that does not bode well. Ryan |

Anyone running E85 mix?
Hey, is anyone in South Louisiana running an E85 mix? I just got my JB4 a couple months ago and have been running to Baton Rouge to the FlexFuel on Florida, filling a couple 5 gallon jugs to bring back to Metairie. Wow, it was such a kick in the butt, I'm hooked on E85. The problem is that the FlexFuel station on Florida supposedly closed yesterday. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried the E85 mix, or just haven't tried it because E85 is so sparsely available.
If you were using E85 and are going to miss it, please e-mail: anne@lavigneoilbr.com or cathy@lavigneoilbr.com (she referred me to Cathy to have a tank delivered - if I used enough volume) Or call: 800-349-0170 She also indicated in the e-mail that they were considering relocating the E85 to another site. Please show some interest that they might do just that, or we'll have to go to Lake Charles for E85 (that's a little too far for me). Alternately, if someone wants to host this tank, and if we can get enough volume between a few of us, and have some sort of E85 club, I'd be down with that. If we have any interest in this, continue discussion here rather than cluttering the Louisiana Chat Thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...3#post16675923

I may just stash the car and enjoy it later because I do not want to sell it. All it needs is some coilovers and maybe a SC and i am done. When my kids are grown it will be game on!! |
