iPhone voice control via bluetooth

Can I access my voice control on my iPhone 4 via the bluetooth on the car? I was playing with it yesterday and I can use the mic on the car to control it but how can I initiate the voice control on the phone without holding down the home button?

Even in that situation, how do you invoke the iPhone voice control?

You have to press the iPhone home button and hold it down

You can invoke siri using a voice command if you have an unlocked iPhone4.
It's a package from cydia called Hands-Free Control.

I think that's the closest thing you will find.

Shame, it seems to me that BMW have missed a trick there, the BMW voice control is not really up to the job whereas the iPhone voice control works pretty well, I guess I will just have to make do with pressing the home button

The problem with this is that it leaves the phone permanently connected to the bluetooth because the mic is always open listening for the command
