Spotted e90 in Murfreesboro - Looked like TiAg 325i sport, xenons, and possibly blacklines. Saw it at the intersection of Greenland and Old Lascassas about 730-800pm was it anyone here?

Never heard of them... I go to a place in Hendersonville called SunCool. They do a great job, and will go as dark as you want.

BTW, what are you guys doing about your RFTs this winter? Are you planning on driving on them if it snows or are you planning to change them out to all seasons? |

I'm keeping mine on. It rarely snows very much around here... eventually I'll get aftermarket rims and put all seasons on them, but for now, they're staying on.

It only snows 2-3 times a year here in Middle TN. My xi with all-seasons should be fine.
I'm definately in the minority - I like the RFT. 2 flats this last year - no problem driving on it for a day or 2. I shelled out the $$ and bought tire insurance from the dealer at purchase. I was reimbursed for each tire promptly from the insurance company - $360 for each tire, replaced by the dealer, dealer took care of all of the paperwork. |

I'm back to TN (Clarksville) with my car after picking it up in NH. I was driving into my apartment complex after running some errands earlier today and saw a black 335 sedan, the first 335 I've seen on the road, hilarious that I saw it right by my apartment.
RFT...I'm still not 100% sure about, but they've gotten much better than they used to be and will only continue to get better. I have the sport package/performance tires on my car and have no interest in snows, so if it snows and I have to get somewhere, I'm using my wife's 4Runner. |

Welcome to the forum sbgorms. Glad to see another Tennessean on e90post. I thought I was obsessed driving to NC to pick my car up...

NH, NC - hope you got good pricing, to make the trips worthwhile.
When buying my car, I wrote up an itemized proposal with every detail, including floormats, destination charge, and rear spoiler (installed). I priced it ~$1050 over invoice, and went to BMW Nashville first. I figured I would spend a little more to buy locally, to avoid the trip, so I threw in another $150 to sweeten the deal. They said they were firm on an additional 'processing fee', so I added it as an item and subtracted it from the additional profit item. They took it, saving me to go to the next dealer on my list - 10 dealers within 200 miles. I didn't think they'd take it, but they came through. PM me if you want to see the itemized list. It may help you with your next purchase. Edit - looking back, it came out to ~$1500 over invoice, including MACO fee. |

I went out to NC because Hendrick BMW in Charlotte was giving me one heck of a sweet deal. About 800 over invoice, and 3,000 more for my e46 trade in than any other dealership, including carmax and many other bmw dealers, had quoted me. Besides, driving the car back through the smokies was a blast!

I went to NH for multiple reasons--my dad bought from the same dealership at the same time, so they gave us both good deals, plus I'm in the military and a 'resident' of NH, so I saved thousands in taxes on the purchase.

Did you ever do anything about your dealer drilling holes in the front bumper? Post up some pictures of your e92- any mods planned?

I cried myself to sleep. Okay, not quite, but I bitched and moaned for an afternoon until my wife told me to shutup. I decided to take their offer of one of those interior/exterior protection packages for free (normally ~$700) instead of having the entire front bumper repainted.
As far as mods, there is nothing I have on my plate immediately, but there are a few things I'm thinking about--including the LUX rings, a Xede, tint, and new wheels. Is there a tint place in Nashville anyone recommends--I'm concerned about the whole 'dot-matrix' issue with the e92 rear window...I definitely want to go to a tint place that knows what they're doing, because the back of the e92 is tricky. |

Also, have you looked into the bumper plugs from bimmian.com to fill in the holes in your bumper? I've heard they work prety well.

If I had holes in my bumper already, I'd get a personalized plate, something like this:
