help with rear turn signal

Hey guys so today I went to go start my car and lately been getting this rear turn signal warning. It would come on when I start my car and then go off when I start driving. Today it came on while I was driving and I checked my tail lights and the right one wasent signalling. The front right would blink rapidly. Left side. Is working perfectly fine. What can be the problem? this ruined my day)

Edit: hey guys so I drove around a bit I got a video of the probelm as well but not sure how to upload. It started to work perfectly fine agagain but after a while it started happening again on and off now it completly won't fix it self. The right side blinks fast and the left side blinks normally. If you guys know what's wrong please help

Edit: Brake lights are all working

Edit: video added. Also when it stops working, i clicked the emergency button and it worked. Then i turn it off and itll be fine then after awhile itll stop working.

Your right tail light is broken. Replace it if you don't think it's the bulb.

Yes, its the bulb. When any (turn signal) bulb is burnt out, the others blink faster as a safety measure to other drivers, to compensate for the burnt out bulb.

You probably have the wrong bulb in. Check the part number, make sure that its the one you need. I had this problem when an Indy replaced my bulb with the wrong one, it would work sometimes and would give me the error code.

I've had the turn signal/taillight bulbs in my 07 335i go "intermittent" on me - they'll fail, then work, then fail. Replacing the bulbs is a 5-minute task on each side - I replaced all of them at the same time so that they all started out equal again.

I just got a right rear brake light warning, when the brake light is fine. I went to Pep Boys and paid $4.99 (rip-off) for 2 bulbs. Replaced the outer right and the warning is gone. I actually am not sure what type of bulb the turn signal is, it is amber as I took mine out and put it back. Can't be more than $2 to $3 imho....

The cost will vary depending on where you go - AutoZone or another parts house will have them relatively cheap. Carry one of the old ones with you so you're sure to get the correct bulbs. I was able to buy them in a package of 3 or 4 at a time for maybe $5 or so. Removing the bulb carrier is a snap, and the bulbs just pop out and back in easily.

No problem, the first time it happened to me, I though it was a more serious electrical problem.

My concern was I know the bulbs are all good (visual check), yet I have that bulb failure warning, and I have a state inspection this week. What if it's the carrier that's malfunctioning, am I looking at $300 at the dealer? The good news again is that the part is only about $17 , because I remember they replaced them twice while I still had a warranty....

I also inspected my "iffy" bulb and it appeared OK, but after replacing it, the problem went away. Just because the filaments appear all right doesn't mean the bulb isn't faulty. Of course if bulb replacement doesn't fix the problem, it's definitely the carrier.
