Hey folks, new(ish) BMW owner here. Got myself an 08 320i and starting to learn how to modify certain parts of it. Was pointed here by some friends who said I'd get better insight before taking the car to garage for all the changes I want to make.

hope to be a long time owner of my first real car!

Hello,

I'm over on the X1 forum but they don't even have a regional section it's a bit quiet over there but I'll be keeping an eye on this forum and the 1 series section for UK just to see for any meets etc.

Got a black X1 20D, just picked up some 19" staggered x5 wheels which are gonna be a squeeze to get on but will be getting different tyres fitted this weekend.

Hello team. My names Bobby. From Essex and I have been the proud owner of an E92 320d M Sport Coupe for 3 years. It has had a lot of interesting things done to it...

You guys have a very strong forum! Keep up the good work guys!

My car started of as a standard E92 Coupe.

I then decided to transform the front end to an LCI together with the rear lights, lower diffuser and 313 alloy wheels.

Been a bit of a lurker on here for few months, and found the site to be a vast resource of helpful knowledge!

Having found useful tips and bits of info, before I start sharing any of my experience, I think my first post should be in the "Hello" thread for newbies

I live on the Wirral, and have had quite a few BMWs - all tourings! I started with a 320i E30 touring to which I fitted a 2.5 motor and Ive never looked back! From there I went to an E36 325tds Touring, to an E46 330d Touring, at one point I also had an E46 M3 Evo Droptop, then to an E61 530d and my most recent is an E91 335d

Im not someone happy with the "std" car, so after swapping the motor on the E30, if it can be remapped (they have all been diesels) they have been.

The current car, the 335d is the most extreme Ive been on the modding front, and she now makes 397bhp and 593lp/ft...

hi I'm new here. had loads of bmws over the years starting with about 10 e30s then I got a 318is e36 which got upgraded to 2012 f20 120d m sport butility that hot stolen and was written off. I now have an e46 330 ci convertible and a 2010 e93 325d m sport that I am currently breaking.

Hello!

I'm planning to buy a 335i Convertible Auto next week of a friend - i know its been well looked after but it has done 84K miles. I'm planning to take out the BMW Comprehensive Warranty.

Can anyone give me advice on things to look out for or get checked? Service is due in 1000 miles, MOT just done.

I'm also looking for advice on a local BMW Specialist - i'm not looking to do much to the car but maybe some coding or getting extended paddles fitted for easier gear changes - i'm based in Ruislip, Middlesex

All thoughts welcome!

Hi , Ive just stepped from an E46 Alpina B3 3.3 in to some nice cosy shoes of 2013 E92 320d performance edition with only 8,000 miles, looking forward to spending some time here.
Ive worked in the motor trade for 25yrs as a paint sprayer , so hopefully ill have a little bit of know how to share should anyone need it

Hi there ..nice ride you got a break down of mods by any chance..slowing getting the modding bug ...I said I wasn't going to but what the hell lol

My 4th E9x series, but my first facelift LCI.

Got my first ever BMW last week at the ripe old age of 37.
Part-ex'd my diesel Civic Type-S for a 2006 E90 318i in metallic grey.

Not going to do anything to it really, other than change the stock 16" wheels for some bigger ones.

Loving it so far.
