High Pressure Fuel Pump on its way out??
So I've searched and I think mine is about to go.
Here are the things that happen every so often: CC-ID-309 or 319 code every time i get on it heavily-- Fuel Pump related code Half check engine, cars idle surges, loses power, turn it off and runs fine as soon as i start back up. And recently map 5 on JB4 kicks me out and goes into Map 4. Any help so i know what to replace would be great!!

Put JB4 on Map 0 and pull codes from OBD? Or pull codes via USB on JB4??
Thanks!

I have the same symptoms and got code 29F3. It's the low pressure fuel pump sensor. However, from what I've read this often goes hand in hand with the HPFP starting to fail.
In any event, I've got a friend at BMW no I'm having the HPFP replaced tomorrow (under warranty for 10 years/120k) and he'll do the LPFP sensor at the same time.

replaced that about 1k miles ago. BMW service advisor states im still covered for that issue, since they extended it to 80k or something. So hopefully I will take it there and they will test and replace it.
