320si may be a classic due to its limited production run. a shame the power increase over the standard 320i is only 23 horses. guess it is comparable to 177hp 323i manaul but 323i will be much smoother and less harsh in hard acceleration.

Anyone has idea about gear ratio?
Compared to normal 320i final reduction will be 4.10.
I'm seriously consider switch this with current normal final.
Does is work?

I have one of these as my company car! - yes you did read that right.

Managed to get of these rare cars on my car scheme.

It might be the highest mileage 320si around.

I have now nearly covered 27k miles in 11mths

I have pics on the link to the left (my garage)

Thanks

Its been the envy of other guys in the team who have an assortment of 318, 320, 325 & 330 SE's.

I only went for this as it had nice seats which clamp you in (They do really clamp well with the electric motor).

Which is great for going round roundabouts and country lanes at full speed.

Wish we got this in North America. I know this is an old thread but I was reading about the long term m3 Car Mag in UK just got and the author mentioned driving the 320si prior the f8x and brought back memories of when this car 1st came out in Europe.
