Flickering Compass
Noticed mine doing this last night on a little road trip. Anyone else have this issue? I doubt CPO will cover it and justing wondering what the fix includes.

I have also had this on long road trips...I just convinced myself it was recalibrating and I felt warm and fuzzy

I've had this happen twice in the past year. I think it's just a bug in the software that everyone has. It goes away and comes back every few months for a few minutes.

There's a way to recalibrate the compass....not sure if it will help but it's worth a shot.
On the bottom, right side of the DWA indicator (clown nose LED), there is a small slit you can insert a small flat head screw driver. There is a button you depress until "C" is displayed in the compass display. Drive the car 2-3 times in a circle at approximately 10mph. The calibration is complete when the direction appears. |
