Anybody know if the springs are progressive or linear rate?

They are linear, which is one main reason I like them.

I've seen many mentioning of 3/4" drop ... my installer also mentioned that.

I will post some pictures when I have a chance to take them.
I do not notice of a big drop, although the car felt very solid and stable when go
over road bumps, carving through Topanga Caynon is so easy now.

Did you originally have sports suspension or just regular? Also, how do you like the set, any more details? Are you happy the way it rides, less body roll, squat, etc?

Yes... very happy with the set up...much less body roll now

My original ride was standard suspension. If you look at page #2, I gave a more
detailed feedback.

Since that review at the top, the BMWPS has gone to version 2....probably in 2011 or 2012. It is essentially the same but is slight stiffer and slightly more performance oriented.

How are the performance suspensions holding up? $1260 plus labor is an investment

They hold up well, probably more so than a coilover suspension.

I have the v1 kit (dampers only). Been on my car for 30+k miles, they still feel good as new. They're throwing a wrench in my compulsive suspension upgrade behavior as I can't justify taking them off. Note the v1 kit was dirt cheap compared to the current kit (but didn't include springs or swaybar).

If I were buying a new setup today, I would probably pass on $1260 for the new kit or at least consider cheaper options like koni yellows. But that's me, I don't really put much value on lowering the car and I already have a bigger front sway. Some people will value keeping everything BMW.
