I am going to upgrade the stock suspension on my 2008 328xi next month.

1) I am going with the KW V1s. Is there any other components i should change while the car is up on the lift to save on labour?

2) also it it possible to raise the car to the highest in the winter and lower it to say a 2 finger gap from tire to fender without having to get an alignment every time? If not what is the recommended ground clearance for all year round driving. I am in toronto.

1) Probably not, Only thing I could think would be a FSB, but not crucial. Maybe some maintenance!

2) You should have your cars height at whatever feels comfortable. Im in Florida and have driven cars inches off the ground and also much higher so it just comes down to the circumstance.

thank IDK_Alex but if i were to raise it in the winter and lower it in the summer would i need an alignment every single time?

just about to order and get them installed by my mechanic. Are there any bushings or mounts i should be swapping out at this time for preventative maintenance? im looking for any items that would save me on labour if i change them now instead of later. anything thats already going to be accessed when doing my coilovers.

i have about 75K miles on the car.

I'd say upper and lower rear shock mounts. My rear lower were worn out at 72K miles

do e92's need any type of camber kits when lowering these cars? My g35 had excessive camber when lowered anymore than 1 inch, so I had to get front and rear camber kits which weren't cheap. Wondering if I have to do the same with my bmw.

Toe and camber are hard to get to specs if you lower the car a lot. Megan racing sells adjustable rear links

You should get adjustable rear toe arms if you go lower your ride height because the stock ones are only designed to keep the toe in spec at stock ride height. Out-of-spec toe contributes more towards tire wear than excessive camber.

Stay within 2 inches from stock otherwise you'll likely run into the alignment issues cvc noted. ~2 inches is the most you realistically can go before the control arm angles become inverted e.g. messed up handling.
