Need new front rotors/pads!

I have E92 335xi and I am looking for best rotor/pads. A bunch of people recommend a stoptech slotted rotors/hawk pads combo I only worry that its going to be noisy.. Should i go back to OEM? Price is 440 for the for stoptech rotors/pads OR 280 for the OEM. Does the stoptech make that big of a difference?

It's kinda hard to say which is the best rotor and pad combo. It varies from driver to driver since each person wants something different that suits them. What kind of pads are you looking for? Do you want low dust and noise or something similar/comparable to the OEM pads?

rotors

I just replaced all my rotors with drilled slotted stoptech using hawk ceramic the yellow box . I can say normal driving there is no sounds no vibrations. Even under hard braking say your doing 100mph you see people ahead of you braking you stomp on your brakes you will hear the abs system working not from your rotors. Change them its worth it stops alot better than stock and less dust too.

You can get a set of Brembo Rotors for around $180.00 and a set of Akebono Ceramic pads for about $80.00 or so.
Couple that with a sensor and retainer springs and you might be out the door $300.00.... Akebono Ceramic pads are a step up from stock. I would say the Brembo Rotors are at least par with Zimmerman. Make sure you get the UV protected ones so they dont turn brown and always stay a nice silver on the Hub.

The pads, retainer springs and sensor you can get at Amazon. The Brembo rotors you can get at Bavarian Auto or Ebay.
