m3 suspension conversion with kw v2 coilovers?

Hello All,

I've had a set of kw v2 coilovers on my e92 335i since I've had the car (2009). Feeling the need to make the car a little more fun, I've decided to put in a Quaife LSD. And since the rear needs to be taken apart, why not do the m3 suspension kit (esp since the rear bushings will require the rear to be dropped anyway).

Question: Can I use my existing kw v2 coilovers (made specifically for non-m3 e9x) with the m3 suspension parts?

TIA!

(any recs for a good suspension shop in CA? Really prefer N. CA, but will make the trip to SoCal if required.)

I'm betting you can go ahead and do the m3 subframe bushings, m3 rear wishbone and guide rods, aftermarket toe arms like Megan Racing (made by Hardrace) or others but not the rear m3 camber arm. I have Ohlins and all the mentioned mods and the non-M kit was compatible. Had I upgraded the rear camber arm I would have needed the m kit.

The rear lower control arm that holds the shocks won't be usable unless you change the shocks out too.

Non-M3 rear shocks

And the toe arm, but you should go with an adjustable there anyway. All other arms should be fine.

I had the entire M3 suspension kit that tischer offers with my KW V2 and they work together just fine. I also had the wavetrac lsd. check my sig for more details
