To those who have/had spacers on their E9Xs...question????
Looking to get spacers depending on the experience of those that have/had spacers on their e9Xs.
I have an e90, sport suspension, bridgestone potenza rft summer tires, 193M wheels (18"). Looking to get 15mm on front and 20mm on the back. Will it change the handling? I do not track the car but like to drive hard on back roads. Will they rub? If both answers are no, what are the best spacers out there? Thanks guys!

I dont have spacers yet but I heard 20mm will rub. Go with 15mm back and 10mm front. As far as handling, I doubt you will notice anything. Spacers just look cool.

I have some just on my rears. And I noticed performance on cloverleafs prior to getting on the highway.
I was going to install fronts as well, but I like the Porsche look with just the rears. |

You'll be fine with a 15mm in the rear; I was running 18" OEM wheels (same as yours, 193M) with stock tires and did not rub. If you're thinking about larger wheels, maybe go 10mm. I switched to 19" OEM with tire size 265 and they rubbed with the 15mm. 10mm no problem. I am not lowered.
I like the VAC Motorsports spacers; they are machined aluminum. VAC CNC's them in-house. The quality is quite nice and they are easy to take on/off (no seizing). http://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac-...-of-2-p70.aspx With spacers you will need extended lug bolts (stock length + width of spacer) or an extended stud conversion kit.

20mm is definitely a no-go on E90 LCI. I have 20mm on my pre-LCI and it rubs slightly.

Studs are nice to have, much easier to take wheels on/off the car. Extended lug bolts ... you can go that route too. Stud conversion kits are about $170: http://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac-...uts-p2700.aspx Those are what I have. I change wheels frequently so the ease of doing that is worth something to me. Thanks a lot man! Appreciated.

Definitely agree with the above. I have 10mm front and 20mm rear with H&R race springs on 17" style 161's, and they rub over dips at highway speed. Not that big of a deal as it only happens a couple times a week but still.

Running H&R 15mm in the front and 18mm in the back and dropped on coils with oem 313 18 inch wheels. No rubbing so far.

You all are forgetting (or not noticing) that OP has a E90 LCI, which has an approximately 8mm wider rear track.
12mm rear spacer on E90 LCI will be roughly equivalent to a 20mm rear spacer on E90 pre-LCI. And all you E92 guys chiming in, the E90 fenders are a tad bit wider so your fitments aren't applicable either.
