Or swap the wires in the plug.

I was thinking about this.... do you know if there's a guide anywhere? Are the connectors different?

Thank You!

I've got quotes from 4 or 5 separate stealers...looks like they've cottoned on to the desire for these harnesses...all have quoted £63 plus VAT

I don't know what dealers you've been speaking to but they are £40!

I got them from BMMiniparts for £41.68 delivered. Part number 61 2012 202181307. May need to get a quote as they didn't have them in stock when I looked.

I prefer these over swapping plugs due to the ease of swapping back.

I am sure that the connectors are same. It is just the allocation of the wires.

If you have not bought those, bring your LCI lights and I'll show you what to do.

We all have different opinions. Those who cannot / do not want to know and happy to spend money, they prefer these cables.

Those who want to learn and want to spend their money on better things would like to learn and do it.

Mak the connectors are different, the pre LCI tail lights have a much larger connector. I've got both types of lights here with me at work. You can buy the LCI connector for less than a pound and 12 wires with the correct pins attached for under £20 if you feel like making your own.

I've ordered the parts to make mine this morning as I fall into the latter of your two categories

Thanks idnan for the correction.
Apologies on my attempt to think it would be similar to e90.

Just for everyone's info - the lci harnesses are on back order from Germany & they are having trouble getting more stock.... so the wait is going to be LONG!

You'll have to find a dealership that have them in stock, otherwise you won't be installing them anytime soon!

I've had been waiting a couple of weeks & the dealer chased this up with the Germans & was told this! Luckily they found another dealer with a set on the shelf for me!
