If you have the money you might as well treat yourself.

Wouldn't be so bad, if we didn't have to look at his smug face

Fair point Gibbo, if you have the money, but if I had that sort of cash there's no way I'd buy a Veyron. Probably just me but I couldn't pay that much for something so butt ugly (IMHO of course Veyron fans) or that you couldn't use anywhere in the real world....

$1million sounds a bit cheap... There 840k sterling over here without options!

Of course you could use that performance. Quite easily.... One blat of the throttle and you could easily see 200mph on the m1 in the middle of the day!

Chris Harris did 227mph easily enough at night albeit on the Autobahn.

I would love a Veyron, but I'd never buy one even if I was uber-rich, because I'd hate to see my face plastered all over the news looking smug.

Simon Cowell loves to be all over the news and has built a career on looking smug so for him it's a no-brainer.

He's a jammy b'stard and I'm not even a bit jealous - honest.

Well maybe a bit

Squeeze you're right, and so are you Carlos; the Veyron is a stunning bit of engineering. I'm not trying to take that away from it, I just don't like it and could think of lots of things I'd rather spend a mill on.
