Ready to purchase a few detailing products... recommendations?

I've used Meg's professional products for years, tried Zaino and a few budget-boutique brands like Pinnacle and Autogym, but I'm open to trying just about anything if it helps to make my job easier. I'm pretty stubborn with my sealant, as Meg's #21 Synthetic Sealant is incredibly easy to work with and has a respectable lifespan on paint, but it doesn't hurt to try something new.

I'm fresh out of QD and am no longer happy with Meg's Gold Class soap, so I want to place an order to try out some new products. I've previously ordered from autogeek.net, but I see a lot of people here pimping detailedimage.com. Are they a forum sponsor or do we have access to additional discounts by ordering through detailedimage?

Car wash soap: I'm completely open here. I think I've read that Optimum offers a nice soap? I'm not interested in ONR though.

Quick Detail spray: I've used all of Meg's detailers and have experience with most of the over-the-counter QDs--they're all disappointing to use and overpriced. Believe it or not, I've experienced better results with Turtle Wax Platinum QD (T413R). It's more "slick" than the Meg's versions and doesn't smear into the paint. It's also super-cheap online, with some retailers selling the 16oz. spray bottle for under $5. What should I try next? I'm thinking Chemical Guys' Speed Wipe, Synthetic QD or Optimum Instant Detailer.

Sealant: Collinite 845? If anything, I can continue to use the Meg's #21 and top it with the Collonite as a wax.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I believe Collinite 845 is actually a wax (although is has above average protection qualities for a wax).

Blackfire Wet Diamond seems to be a popular choice for sealants. I'll be trying it myself this weekend, based on the many recommendations on here.

For QD, I'm really liking FK425. Your other suggestions are probably good too, I've seen lots of people recommend them.

Here's stuff I like:

QD
: Adam's Detail Spray - Very easy to work with and doesn't streak

Sealant: einszett 1z glanz - very easy to apply and cures within a couple minutes making the process very easy

Yep collinite is a carnuba based wax, but last's well, have on the GF's truck. If you like the Megs sealant why switch, Auto Detailing Solution has it cheap 16oz for $18. I personally use BFWD and like that, used quite a few others and really its personal preference. Can't go wrong using collinite as a topper if you want ultimate protection.
I use both PB Spray & Gloss or PB Spray & Wipe as QD's depending on the situation. After washes S&G, to get bird bombs etc off S&W. I like those some people do not. FK425 is a solid product and I might try that soon alongside the S&G just to see. It gets rave reviews everywhere.
Soap I use Chemical guys maxi suds as my weekly and Chemical guys Citrus as a stirpper. DI has a special right now so you could try some and see what you like.

Do we have access to a "forum discount" on DI or do discount codes exist? I didn't see that in the sticky.

Here are a few stuff I recommend.

Car wash soap
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear - Great for daily washes and stripping off old sealant/wax. Smells great too!

Quick Detail spray
Poorboy's World Spray & Wipe - I keep a bottle of this in my trunk all the time for quick wipes like bird droppings. Also a great clay lube.

Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray with Polycharger - I love the gloss on this QD. I use it after each wash. Haven't found any other QD that can match the glossiness of this one.

Sealant
Optimum (OPT) Opti-Seal - My favorite sealant. You can practically use this on any exterior part. Just spray and buff it. Don't need to let it cure and wipe. I use it on my chrome grille, body, exhaust tips and wheels.

Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 - Another sealant I recommend

Forum discounts do not apply to sale items on DI. But with that said the CG soap I mentioned is less than $7 each and the 16oz bottle lasts probably 30 washes. Easy way to try new stuff. I have so much stuff I've tried that way some I just gave away as I liked other stuff better but wanted to try it.

Thanks guys! I just placed my order with DI... I got the following:

Poorboy's World Leather Stuff - 16 oz $16.19
1 P21S Total Auto Wash - 1000 ml Kit $15.29
1 Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 - 16 oz $22.49
1 Chemical Guys Extreme EZ-Creme Glaze with Acrylic Shine II - 16 oz $12.74
2 Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer - 16 oz (w/CG Clear Trigger) $14.99
1 Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear - 16 oz $6.74
1 Chemical Guys GlossWorkz Paintwork Cleanser - 16 oz

Now I'm thinking of heading back to autogeek to get the Collonite 845 and the FK425.

Try some SONAX wheel cleaner, you won't use anything else afterwards
