All you guys crack me up that post all this info about an exhaust system you've never owned or experienced. You just post up shit that everyone's already read. Before my PE my car didn't pull nearly as hard up top and by more than 5hp I'll tell you that. These numbers you're posting are from a stock 335i with the PE, not a bolt on, tuned E-85 335i with the PE. Keep posting up ur google stuff tho, whatever helps you sleep at night

So the bottom line is you dropped some big bucks on equipment that does not give a measurable increase in power no matter what you 'feel'. BTW my 335IS has a factory system that is closer to PE than pure stock & just makes a nice sound not measuarable power increase. Comes with the car & I would not pay extra to add one on for just power gains.

Terry's also has catless downpipes + way more horsepower then PR3CI5N but at the end of the day or end of the pipe the exhaust still has to get out through the oem mufflers which don't seem to be causing restrictions & certainly are not going to cause a restriction on a car with just a tune & downpipes. That being said if you think the BMW PE system is a good performance per dollar spent, buy one & enjoy it. Would also be nice to see a before & after dyno run from anyone who gets one

Dammit I wanted to get dps this spring to get more power but reading all these comments about it sounding bad with the PE. What about the AR design catted dps?

On my new car I go for the 335is Exhaust with the AR DP's.
I did actualy like the combi AR-PE but it is to loud upon cold start. High revving on the highway -> it's a screaming headturner in positive sence.

Shivs 640+whp single turbo, exhaust make unknown to me, ran a quicker 10.8 but with a N20 shot Hot Rod holds top speed at 132.7mph through stock mufflers.
Is he going to see any measurable increase in power or just a better sound for his $1000+ purchase. My answer is no power but more sound & there is a lot better ways to spend a $1000+ & get a much quicker car. I listed cars running 11.1 over 129 mph on stock mufflers & looking into that, if increased power was what I really wanted for a good price, I would be looking at meth injection to go with my down pipes. Eurotuner did a 135 project car with the PE as part of the package the started with a 10whp loss on the first pull & I believe after some adaption & ecu cleanup at the dealer worked it down to minus 3whp. As far as I know its the only before after dyno runs that are published. Your opinion may differ but at the end of the day its the OP's money to spend.
