Once I build another one. This first one took a beating with the usual routes I take on my daily drive. The main piece fins at the bottom angle were hitting on sidestreet dips and screwed mounting areas weren't holding. So I have to go back to the drawing board. Smaller fins underneath, making/finding more secure mounting points, and raising the whole diffuser.

sorry to be a pain in the butt but can you run through a few things for me?
1. what was your thought process? how did you go about it. 2. measurement and design. how did you plan out what you were going to do. did you use cardboard templates? 3. material and tools. what materials did you use? is it soft acrylic/plastic? and what tools did u use to cut and smooth it out with. did you get it cut professionally? thanks |

2. I found a local who can make diffuser. Yes he used cardboard for measurements. This fitment is one off. Fitted specifically for my car because it's a 328i, looking like a 335i, and underneath is not the same. 3. Box cutter, abs plastic, rivets, brackets, various screws. Professionally in a sense that he's done this before many times in his garage. |

The bumper was already done and I told the shop if they can sand it more to show the lip, not cut the lip again. But oh well, at least the bumper will extend lower!

Props to the DIY project! I wouldn't be able to do that myself that's for sure!
But I think sometimes simpler is better, I'm really liking the look without the custom functional diffuser. The quad and that diffuser looks cleaan Looking forward to the front setup!
