IMHO it is the only lacking part of the tune (The low end lag). It is smooth as can be, middle to top end power is mighty, gear transitions never bog, and throttle response is second to none, but after being a heavy duty JB3 1.4 beta tester and experiencing certain things that have enhanced daily driving relative to stock, that is the only blaring weakness...Ive been more or less content and happy with this tune outside of that one snag. I feel like it will make a huge difference in everyday drivability, especially for AT people. And will match it admirably in-between JB3s Map 3 and Map 5 mod to mod for a stage 1 tune. I'm expecting Stage 2 to be comparable or even better than Map5 but with GIAC's smoothness, reliability, and throttle response. But we'll see with it only around the corner.

woo hoo! The car is extremely responsive and pulls really hard. It is hard to keep traction, the car is a beast! I did not feel any noticeable boost oscillations above 5500 rpm but I have catted downpipes and 93 octane. It seems like people who had the overboost issues had catless downpipes and 91 octane.

Doing some WOT and spirited driving I got up to 13.7 psi according to my boost gauge (P3/Rix) so everything seems to be running ship shape. I did re-calibrate the gauge right after the flash.

The car feels transformed, power delivery is extremely smooth, no surging or jerking.

I will head to the dyno later next week and post the gains. I will go to the same dynojet where I did some pulls after my FMIC was installed.

Again, I have FMIC, DP and exhaust for those who are wondering.

I am loving the GIAC and can't wait to see what Stage 2 has to offer!
Great review, and nice avatar!
