Metallic Noise?

Hello guys,

I noticed this strange new noise(fml) recently, from what i can tell it's coming from underneath the car.

I'm going to a friend's shop on saturday but i want to know what to expect.

Anyone? Car is a 06 325i with a n52b25 engine.

Could a busted cat make this noise? :O I think it's coming from the cat side.

Since i don't like leaving things in the blue: the cat is broken on the inside, needs replacing.

Thinking of a custom PE cat such as magnaflow, would it pop errors?

If you want it catted still, I would say European cat or AFe headers. Neither should give you a code

Thanks,

Anyone know the size of the cat for the 325i? I can't find the correct size anywhere.

Hey alx, we actually offer a few different direct bolt-on replacement cat options for your car. Do you know which cat is causing the problems for you? The OE grade direct-fit cats are 49-state legal, and will work properly with your cars current engine management, so you don't get any check engine lights. Here are the product numbers if you would like to look into them further:

Front header - 49762
Rear header - 49763
Left pipe - 49764
Right pipe - 49765

If you happen to have any questions, feel free to shoot us a call or PM!
